Discover the history of the Mexican Revolution

Mexican RevolutionOn November 20, 1910 started a major armed struggle in Mexico for the liberation of the people from the dictatorship of the president Porfirio Diaz, who leasted for about 33 years.

The Mexican Revolution officially ended in 1917 with the enactment of the Constitution, which now a days, is still in force; this Constitution was one of the most advanced of its time as it recognized collective labor rights and social guarantees.

In 1929 in Mexico City at the “Plaza del Zocalo”, the Mexican Revolution parade was established to commemorate this date. Panamerican medalists, Paralympic athletes, Armed Forces medalists, Air Force members , Federal Police members, Navy members, etc., participate in this parade.

This parade has been spread to every state of Mexico and every November 20, parades can be seen on the streets of cities; usually public schools participate representating scenes and wearing clothes of the time.
