Secret Road to the Cenote

The past February 15th at 1pm, on the Grand Bahia Principe Coba was held the opening ceremony of the Cenote Dxonot Be located close to the Villa 11.

Working with the Ecological Fundation “EcoBahia”, was held the Blessing and Protection Ritual of the place, officiated by a shaman, who made a Maya ceremony in which permission to the Mother Nature was requested, for using the cenote as a reading place for guests and contact with nature.

Dxonot Be (Secret Road to the Cenote) is the name that has been given to the place where you can enjoy an orchid, and contact with the indigenous flora (The Chital or The Chicozapote).

The ceremony was attended by  Mr. Ignacio Subías, General Manager of Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort, Mr. Alberto Selas, Director of Common Services, and the Director of the Ecological Foundation, Katia Courdourier
