Blue Flag in Grand Bahia Principe La Romana

On December 19th, the beach at the La Romana complex, in the Dominican Republic, received the Blue Flag award for the second consecutive year. To celebrate the good news, the Bahia Principe staff worked hard to organise an event to commemorate this recognition.

We are very proud of this new achievement and of having kept up our hard work and effort throughout the year. Our General Manager said it best during his speech:

“Once again, our continuous effort and good work has been rewarded. Today we hoist our second Blue Flag, a symbol that guarantees that our beach is up to the standard of many others, both nationally and internationally.

Our goal is to continue improving each day and to keep this award, as we have so far, assuring our local and foreign guests that they can enjoy a beach that is in line with the established environmental and recreational guidelines.”

Following his speech, the General Manager accepted the corresponding certificate from Mrs Cesarina Aquino and proceeded to hoist the flag.
